"Snowman Ornament"

I made this snowman shaker ornament to go with a gift set. These are so cute, so fun and so easy. I bought the tins at Michael's. They're over in the wedding section. They come in a 30 pack for $19.99. I cut a circle to fit inside the tin with the creative memories cutting tools and stamped the snowman, colored it and put in inside the tin. Then I put the snowflakes inside. Put the top back on and wrapped the seam with tacky tape. Then attached the ribbon to the tape and made it into an ornament. I like to make these for birthday's too only I make them into magnets. Same directions but instead of making the ribbon a holder just put it around the tin with no extra. Then I take E600 Industrial Strength Craft Adhesive and put a small dot on a magnet and stick it to the back of the shaker. I use the candles from Tags and More and put ice cream sprinkles inside. Kids love them. I have also made some with the flowers and put in colored sugar. The possibilities are endless.

Where did I get the snowflakes you ask. I got them at Michael's too. I found them over by the hand made paper supplies. I got them last year so I don't know if they are still there or not. But look in the hand made paper section.
Stamps: Tags and More, Flaky Friends
Paper: Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Regal Rose
Accessories: Tin, Grosgrain Ribbon, Tacky Tape, Snowflakes, SU Markers, CM Cutting Tools

"Snowflake RSVP Pens"

I made these beaded pens this morning to go with the crazy for chocolate nugget boxes for the teachers and secretary's. I still have to make one more but I only had one pack of pens. I will have to get more pens cause I still need them for the gift sets. I love making these pens. They are so simple. I hope to get a couple more gift sets done this weekend and get started on my Christmas cards. AGH!!! I get my tacky tape sheets from Oriental Trading Company. Three sheets for $4.95. I get my micro beads from Michael's. They come in a two pack for $1.99 and that will make 20 pens. For the address labels, I just buy the Avery ones for the computer and cut them down. RSVP pens I get a Walmart. I can't remember how much they are but they come in a 5 pack and are way cheaper than an office supply store. After I put the label and tape on the pen, I heat it with the heat gun before rolling in the beads. It makes the tape more sticky and the beads hold on better. Here are the directions for the RSVP pens if you would like to try them.

Stamps: Snowflakes
Ink: Cool Caribbean, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose
Accessories: RSVP Pen, Micro Beads, Tacky Tape, Address Label, Heat Gun, Rectangle Container

"Snowman M&M Pull Up Holder"

Here is a M&M holder that I made for another gift set. I swear I have gift set orders coming out of my ears right now. I haven't even started my Christmas cards. Oh well, I like making gifts more than cards anyway so I am having a good time. I think this is the cutest M&M holder I have made so far. I love it. I silver embossed the snowflakes and added liquid applique for the snow under the snowman. The snowman stamp is from Flaky Friends. I inked it with marker so I would only have this one instead of the group. I also used the aqua painter with cool caribbean re-inker to color the snowman. I posted the directions for you in case you want to make some too.

Stamps: Flaky Friends
Paper: Regal Rose, Cool Caribbean, Whisper White
Ink: Versamark, Cool Caribbean
Accessories: SU Markers, Liquid Applique, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Light Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, M&M's, Rectangle Hand Punch, Circle Hand Punch

"Tea For Two"

Here is the card that I came up with for the tea gift set that I am making. I really like how it came out. I broke out the sage shadow. I think I have used it once. I think, I'm not really sure. But I kinda like it. It goes pretty good with pretty in pink and barley banana. The tea cup stamp I borrowed, it is from PSX. This gift set is going to be cute. I added some dots around the scallop with the SU gel pen. It really pulled it together.
Stamps: Something To Celebrate, PSX
Paper: Sage Shadow, Pretty in Pink, Barley Banana, Whisper White
Ink: Stazon Black, Sage Shadow
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Embossing Folder, SU Markers, Silver Cord, Light Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Giga and Mega Scallop Punch, SU Circle Punches

"Angler Gift Set"

This is another one of six gift sets that I am making for a lady. She hasn't yet confirmed her order with me but I wanted to get them made just in case. So good news for you. If she doesn't end up ordering them, I am going to give them away to you. It contains a card holder with 4 cards plus envelopes, covered 3x5 notepad, bag topper, gum holder, and beaded pen. I like this one but it isn't my favorite. I think I should have used very vanilla instead of white. I also wanted to use night of navy but when I colored the blue in the hat it turned out to be more of not quite navy so I had to use that color. Again, not one of my favorite SU colors. Oh well. I still have to make the beaded pen to go with this set. I just got my tacky tape sheet in the mail the other day so I will be making them this week. Right now I am working on the tea gift set and so far it is super cute. There is no greeting on the cards yet. I think I will just do two happy birthday and two thinking of you with warmest regards.

Stamps: Angler, Canvas
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, Stazon Black

"Roses in Winter Gift Set"

This is one of six gift sets that I am making for a lady. She hasn't yet confirmed her order with me but I wanted to get them made just in case. So good news for you. If she doesn't end up ordering them, I am going to give them away to one of you. Woo Hoo! I wish you could see how shiny these are. I put stickles on all of the flowers and in the center of the white flowers. The card holder has 4 cards with envelopes inside. Two Thinking of You and two Happy Birthday. There will also be a beaded pen included but I haven't made it yet. The other gift sets will be a coffee set, a fisherman set, tea set, and possiably a golf and basketball one.

Here is a close up of the card. I wanted to show you how it sparkles but the scan didn't really show it.

"Crazy for Chocolate"

I made these nugget boxes that hold 18 nuggets for my girls three teachers and three secretary's in the office. I know they are going to love it. Who doesn't like chocolate? I ordered two packs of cool Caribbean paper before they retired last year. I love this color combo. The celery didn't photograph very well today. I stamped snowflakes on address labels and wrapped them around the nuggets. I get them at Target or Walmart. They come in a pack of 125 for under $2. They are by the rummage sale stickers. Here is the link to the directions to make all different size nugget boxes. I really enjoy making gift items. If you couldn't tell.

"Citrus Everywhere"

I don't have a card to post today. I had to go to the ER last night and get more stitches. I had my stitches removed on Thursday but last night I hit my incision on the door knob and it split wide open. It didn't hurt but I had to get it stitched up. I got 6 stitches this time. I only had 4 last time. The ER doctor also found two pieces of the tumor that didn't get removed. So I was so mad. If it hadn't have split open, the left over tumor would have grown back. So I guess the accident was a blessing. Anyway, I thought I would show you my citrus trees.

This is my dwarf tangerine tree. We planted it in June and it had the non ripe fruit on it. They looked like little green golf balls. I think these will be ready in a few more days. I can't wait to try one of these little cuties.
This is my lemon tree. I sent Tony out to trim it two summers ago and he trimmed it to 5 feet tall and very very bare. This is the first crop that we will have since then. I was so mad when I looked at the bare tree. But it came back bigger and better than before so I am over it. LOL

There are already 100 lemons ready to be picked. We give away a ton of them all year long. The lemon season is January and February. We will have lemon water and iced tea with lemon all year. I have also found some good chicken recipes to use with the lemons. And not just lemon bars. Which are fantastic. When we had our first crop, I made lemon bars and sent them home to MN for my family.

Plum Silhouette

If you are like me, you have a pack of perfect plum and pale plum sitting there not getting used. I decided to break them both open and make this card. I really like it but it is missing something I think. I wanted to put a ribbon on but couldn't find a place. I did put stickles on the perfect plum flowers to give it a little pizazz and sponged perfect plum around the images.

Stamps: Garden Silhouette, Sincere Salutations
Paper: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Whisper White
Ink: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum
Accessories: Stickles, Stamp-A-Jig, Sponge

"New Rubba"

I picked up my stamp club order last night from my demo. I was the hostess for our November stamp camp and I had a $600 order. I didn't get anything fun though. I only got stamp cleaner refill, gel pen, and a lot of paper. I am waiting for the new catalog in January. I really don't like much in this catalog. There is nothing that I "have to have" but I always need paper. The only new rubber that I got was three hostess sets. I picked Oh So Lovely, Party Punch, and Garden Silhouettes. I did get them mounted last night and the plan is to stamp tonight.

My demo asked me if I would be interested in taking over her stamp classes at the parks and rec in February and April. I am a little nervous. The last two classes that she had were full. Which is only 10 people but still. I have to come up with 12 projects. February's theme is Birthday and Valentine's Day. So far I have come up with three gift items and I have three card ideas. So that is 6 things. I can use retired stamps too because it isn't a "stampin' up" class and there is no promoting. I am going to wrap this up now cause I am going Christmas shopping for the girls today. When I get home, I am going to stamp till I cramp.

"Kisses in the Tent"

I made these today for my nephew to take to his pre-school holiday party. I know it is early but my sister lives 2400 miles away and it isn't like I can run them over. I really love how they turned out. Roman is going to be a big hit in class. (Thanks to Anutie Rochelle) LOL

This is a close up of the tents. I stamped the big snowflakes with bashful blue and then silver embossed the smaller snowflakes. I got the snowman head stamp at Michael's $1 spot a couple years ago when I really wanted to buy cold play. This was my substitute. I sponged bashful blue around the edges of the white card stock and then sponged over the image as well to soften the white. They are super cute. And very easy to make.

Here is the side view. There are 6 Hershey Kisses inside. The two on the ends are anchored with glue dots so they don't all fly out when you pick it up.
Cut the card stock 5 x 5 1/2 then score on the 5 inch side at 1 1/2, 2 1/2, and 4. Then decorate the outside and fold and put together in the tent shape. The back of mine has the overlap. I closed them with tacky tape but you could use adhesive or glue.
Stamps: Snowflakes, Michael's $1 Snowman Head
Paper: Bashful Blue, Real Red, Walmart White
Ink: Bashful Blue, Stazon Black, Versamark
Accessories: Red and Black Gingham Ribbon, Hershey Kisses, Small and Large SU Tag Punch, Sponge, SU Markers, Heat Gun, Silver Embossing Powder, Glue Dots, Scor-Pal

"More Peppermint Sammiches"

ok, I am officially hooked on these peppermint sammiches. I decided to make a few for my sister to put in a bowl on the counter at her piano studio. Ok, I decided to make ALOT! 100 in fact. But they are so fun and so cute. I couldn't help it. Who cares if she is 2400 miles away. LOL I am going to send them to her. Her students and parents will love them. I made them blue because her colors are blue. They look pretty good. I will tell you that my hand hurts from punching 200 scallops though. That punch is a lot harder to use than any other SU punch. I did punch it through wax paper but it really didn't help. The top and bottom scallop is adhered with glue dots. It is really hard to see the colors and stamp in the picture because of the lighting. Kinda makes you dizzy doesn't it? Sorry.
Stamps: Riveting
Paper: Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue, Walmart White
Ink: Brocade Blue
Accessories: SU Scallop Punch, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 SU Circle Punch, Glue Dots, York Peppermint Patties

"Peppermint Sammiches"

Are these cute or what? I saw them somewhere and I had to make them. I made 41 of them this afternoon. They took about 30 minutes total. The plan was to make them for my two youngest girls classes for Christmas. They both were like, "We don't like peppermint and neither does anyone in our class". So I think I will make a bunch more and give them to the principal to put in the teachers boxes. I guess I can come up with something cute for their classes. LOL I attached the scallops to the peppermint patty with glue dots. Apparently I missed one bottom in the side view picture below. Oops.

Stamps: Snowflakes
Paper: Garden Green, Real Red, Walmart White
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red
Accessories: SU Scallop Punch, SU 1 1/4th and 1 3/8th Circle Punch, Glue Dots, York Peppermint Patties.

"Masculine Card"

I made this card for a gift set that I am making. I didn't put a greeting on it yet because I don't know what greeting she wants on it. I am in the process of making 6 different gift sets. She hasn't confirmed her order yet but I wanted to get started on them as soon as possible just in case. If she doesn't end up ordering them, I am going to give them away to you guys. The gift sets consist of a card holder, 4 cards with envelopes, gum holder, covered 3x5 notepad and beaded pen. I have one gift set done so far.

"Embossed Silhouettes"

Here are four cards we made at stamp camp. I really love the colors that we used. This will make a nice set to give to someone.

We used the embossing buddy so that we didn't get embossing powder all over the card. The greeting is from warm words on the first two. I also like how the flowers are closer together on these as opposed to the last two.

We distressed the edges, which is one of my favorite looks for a card. The card is white so it matches the embossing. The greeting on the last two is from Much Appreciated.

Stamps: Garden Silhouettes, Warm Words, Much Appreciated
Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Taken With Teal, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White

"Birthday Gift Set"

I made this for a blogging friend's daughter for her birthday. She doesn't know it is coming so I can't wait until she gets it. I got the lunch tins earlier this year at JoAnn's for $1 and the notebooks I have had forever. I got them at Target. Of course I had to use my favorite paper. It really matches the tin. I used Modge Podge to adhere the paper on the tin and on both notebooks. Super easy and very fast. I love how it turned out. Apparently so did my daughter Katie. I had to make her one as well.

Stamps: Pocket Fun, All About U
Paper: Ballet Blue, Real Red, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White, Bo Bunny DP
Ink: Basic Black, Ballet Blue, Real Red, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Hershey Nuggets, Ziploc Baggie, Brad, Lunch Tin, Modge Podge, Sponge Paint Brush, Notebooks, RSVP Pen, Microbeads, Tacky Tape

"Look What I Won"

I won blog candy from Kelly over at Wishiniwasstampin. I got it yesterday. I can't wait to play. I got Inkadinkado clear birthday stamps, 2 blank puzzles for altering, some Chipboard ribbon sliders, Sandylion butterfly 3-D stickers, some pretty pink primas with silver brads, and a retired Penny Black stamp called Bubble Mouse. Thanks Kelly for picking my name. Check out Kelly's blog if you get a chance.

"Hello Dippy Debbie"

My surgery went great. It was way better than I thought it would be. "Tracy Tumor" is gone and now I have "Dippy Debbie" When they removed the tumor it left a dip in my arm that looks like someone took a bite out of my arm. LOL It is quite funny. My apologies to anyone named Debbie, it was just the first D name that popped into my head when I saw the dip in my arm. I had to name it. I really did. Ha ha ha. This will in no way effect my stamping. It has been 7 hours since I had it taken out and there is no pain at all. I asked the doctor what "Tracy" looked like and he showed it to me when he took it out. It was kinda funny looking. It was sort of a yellowish red color. I thought it looked kinda like a tiny brain. I know that sounds gross but it really wasn't. Maybe I watched too many episodes of CSI and stuff like that doesn't bother me anymore. It was about the size of a walnut and very squishy. I hope I didn't gross anyone out. I hope you had a couple laughs instead. I know I am giggling as I am typing. Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, e-mails, and for thinking of me today. You are all so sweet. I am glad that I have such wonderful friends. Even if I have never met them.

"Good Bye Tracy Tumor"

I am having surgery on Thursday morning to get a benign tumor removed from my forearm. I have had it for at least 6 years. It started to bother me for the past year and hurt a little. When I would bump it, it would send tingles down to my fingers. I named it Tracy. LOL Well, it is time to let Tracy go. I am excited to get rid of her, but not excited to take a break from stamping. Tracy is on my left arm and I am right handed so I hope that it won't effect me all that much. I am busy today scanning some stuff and taking pictures of some projects that I have made the past few days so I have something to post while I am not stamping. I will let ya'all know how it went.

"Christmas Gift Set"

Here is a project we did at stamp camp. We made a 2,4,6,8 box, a nugget thingy, and a gum holder. We used a candy cane wheel on the 2,4,6,8 box but it is hard to see in the picture. I couldn't get a good picture of this. They were all kinda blurry and this was the best one in the bunch.

"Super Stickled Spinner"

I can't remember the last time I made a spinner card. I forgot how much fun they are. I colored the princess with markers then outlined the dress and the top of the crown with purple stickles. The wand has yellow stickles and I also added diamond stickles in the center of the flowers and the heart on the crown. Here are the directions for the spinner cards. I have a hard time coming up with colors that go with the purples. I used elegant eggplant and lavender lace and black. I like these colors together but I think her yellow hair doesn't really match like I wanted it to. Oh well. It is still super cute.

"Be Merry"

I just noticed that this card is put together crooked. I think I need glasses. LOL I made this card today at stamp camp. Isn't it cute? For this card, I cut out all the ornaments and used pop dots to stick them on. I love it. I have this set and have had it since last year but I haven't even mounted it yet. Bad Rochelle!! I think I will have to mount it and make some more cards like this.

"Ellie The Elephant"

I made this card a while ago. I haven't stamped in a couple days. So I had to dig out a card from the file of not posted. LOL The polka dot ribbon matches the polka dot brads. They came as a set. I don't have a greeting on this one either. No surprise. I don't think this is a card I can send because the brads are HUGE!! But it is cute for one of the girls to give to a friend or something. I will be working on some gift sets this weekend. I hope to post them next week. I also have stamp camp on Saturday so I should have some new cards from that as well. So thanks for sticking with me. I don't want to jinx it but today is the first day in 6 1/2 weeks that I don't have a headache. Woo Hoo!
