"Saffron Beauty"

Ya know, one good thing about me not posting in a long time was that my blog kinda reset itself. I am now able to schedule my posts. Before my blog got tagged as spam cause I had so many links to other sites and I wasn't able to schedule a post. This was a fun card to make. I like the layers that are pushed all the way to the right side of the card. I think it looks cool. I also like the orange gems that we added, they really add to the card. The greeting is from Party Harty. I inked up just the word party with real red marker. The image is popped up with dimensionals.

"Beautiful Bella"

I love this card. I think it is the color combo that I like the best. This card was inspired by Dawn Olchefske (dostamping) We made this one at stamp camp last weekend. I have been a big fan of Dawn's for a long time so it was fun to make a card that was inspired by one of hers. When I move back to MN I am going to become a demo and I am going to sign up under Dawn. I really like the ribbon on this card but the back of it is white and when I made my first bow I one of the pieces was white and the same thing happened when I made a knot. So I made the bow like this so that you wouldn't see the back of the ribbon. I don't know if you can see it or not but the middle dot in the greeting has a stickles on it. Gotta love stickles!!
Stamps: Think Happy Thoughts

"Party Harty"

Here are two more cards that we did at stamp camp. These were inspired/cased from Gina Rallo's card on scs. Changed slightly. I think I am going to have to get this set. You can make this same card in different colors and it would make a great card gift set for someone. The image was inked up with markers to give it different colors. It was a simple card to make as well. The back mat was ran through the crimper to give it some texture. Once again, I forgot to stamp the greeting. Go figure.

Stamps: Party Harty
Paper: Real Red, Pixie Pink, Lovely Lilac, Only Orange, Ballet Blue, Whisper White
Accessories: SU Markers, Crimper, Red Grosgrain Ribbon,

"Crazy For Cupcakes"

These cards we made at stamp camp last weekend. I love them both. I think I will do them for my February stamp class. I love the layouts and the colors. I seem to use the top cards layout a lot on cards I make. They were inspired by cards seen on Dawn Easton's blog. The image was colored with ink pads and a blender pen, and popped up with dimensionals. Liquid applique was applied to the cupcakes as frosting.

"Flight Of The Butterfly Eggplant"

Woo Hoo!! I posted a new card! Are you as shocked as I am? I thought you might be. I am hoping that by going to stamp camp last weekend it will be just the push that I need to get back into it. We made 7 cards and I love them all so I can't wait to share them with you. This card was inspired by Debra Daam's grey and pacific/baja blue card on SCS although we used a different layout and different colors, her card was the inspiration. I have been job hunting for a few weeks now and I am finally getting call backs and interviews. I am not looking for a glamorous jobs...just something to keep me busy and get me some of my own money. I had an interview at Blockbuster the other day. It was kinda funny. Ok it was real funny. He asked me what my favorite movie was and without hesitation I said Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. That has been my favorite movie forever. So the manager says "sing me a song" I was like, "what?" so he said again, "sing me a song from the movie" So the two of us did a duet of the oompa loompa song. I stopped and he kept going. That guy knew every word. We weren't in an office either. We were at the front counter so everyone around us could hear. The best part of it was that I wasn't even embarrassed. It was kinda fun to be goofy and myself at an interview. I had a second interview last night with a different manager. She did not make me sing. LOL I have a second interview Wednesday at Applebees. I am hoping to get that one. I miss serving and the money. Ok, I have babbled long enough. I am off to the doctor for another follow up on my finger but I will totally see you all tomorrow!

I want to thank all of you who have been patient with me. I know I haven't posted in forever and believe me, I feel bad. I don't know what has happened to me. I guess since I had my hand surgery it was hard to get back into it since it hurt so bad to stamp. Life also got in the way and stamping had to take a back seat. Then I lost my mojo. The holidays came and went and now it is the new year. Molly my 6 year old had her tonsils and adenoids taken out on Monday and she is home this week and needs me. She is a real trooper though. One tough little girl. She had chronic snoring, sleep apnea, and couldn't breathe out of her nose since last August. So they wanted to take her tonsils and adenoids out to free up her passage so she can breathe and sleep normally. I can tell already that it is working. I do have stamp camp this Saturday and I will have things to share next week. Hopefully that will keep me posing. I think I just need a nudge in the right direction.

I also want to thank so many of you for your e-mails. I guess seeing how many people miss me makes me want to stamp again. Thanks for all your support. See you soon!
