Here is another card that we made at my last class. Yes, this one I cased too. But in my defense, I haven't stamped in sooooo long that I lost my grove. I almost didn't feel like stamping again. It has been a long year for my poor neglected stamps. I was searching splitcoast for ideas and this card jumped right off the page to me. I cased it from bejoyce (who actually cased it from someone else) LOL I love square cards but I don't make them very often. I loved the layout and the clean lines on this card, I just had to make it. I don't have all the in colors (which is what she used) so I came up with a different color combo. Thanks Carrie and your color wheel! I just noticed that I took a picture of the wrong card, I forgot to put a greeting on this one. Anyway, if there was a greeting, it would be under the Amethyst square.

"Wonderful Friend"
This is another card that we did in my last class. This is a very simple layout and one of those quick cards. I Used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the greeting, cut a slit in the top fold of the card for the ribbon and punched the flowers out with the SU trio flower punch. I also added some bling to the middle of the flowers to give them some pizazz. I got the ribbon from Joann's. They have so many different stripes that you could use any color card, which means this would also make an easy card set to make someone for a gift. Which just gave me an idea, I think I will make more in different colors to give to someone. Thanks Rochelle! LOL
Stamps: Wonderful Favorites
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Basic Black, Only Orange, Real Red, Yo Yo Yellow, Whisper White
Ink: Brilliant Blue, Real Red
Accessories: Bling, Trio Flower Punch, Striped Ribbon, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig

"Citrus Circles"
This is another card we did at my class. I also cased this from the catalog. I can't wait to try this one in different colors. I used the orange stamp from Tart N Tangy, stamped it once and punched it out with the 1 inch punch, then stamped it again and punched out the middle with the 3/4 inch punch and popped the middle on dimensionals. I have lost my mojo so I decided to case from the catalog to get inspiration. I have had some time to stamp lately which makes me happy. I feel like I don't get to stamp for myself at all anymore. I am so busy with getting ready to move. Last week I rented a dumpster and got rid of a bunch of junk. Feels good to throw so much away. Now if I can get the kids to throw away all those stuffed animals we will be good. I got rid of a bunch when they were in school but there are more. I think they are multiplying.
Stamps: Tart N Tangy, Warmest Regards
Paper: Really Rust, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke
Accessories: SU 1 Inch Punch, SU 3/4 Inch Punch, Dimensionals, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon

"Beautiful Butterfly"
I had my last class on Friday and this is one of the card that we made. I cased it from the catalog only I didn't paper pierce as much as they did. I stamped the butterfly in white craft on vellum then cut it out, spread the wings and adhered it to the modern label punch. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It is a beautiful card and super easy to make. It would look great in other colors as well. I am sad that I am done teaching my class, but on the other hand, I am happy cause now I can spend my time getting ready to move. Woo Hoo!!

"Holiday Treat Box"
I love this box, isn't it gorgeous? It was so simple to make too! Here is the link to the directions. This is another project for my class Friday. Inside I put two packets of hot cocoa and a bundle of chocolate peppermint stix. I found the peppermint stix at Walgreens. (two boxes for $4) You can put what ever you want in the box too and make it different holidays. I have been out of the "stamping loop" for so long, I don't know the name of the stamp I used or the DP. Oh well, I am getting back in so I will be on top of my game again soon. I can't wait to share with you all the projects we are doing.

"Cuttlebug Birthday"
Hey everyone!!! I am back to stamping....(again)I'm ok, thanks for the e-mails to check on me. I'll tell you what happened. Facebook sucked me in and I can't get out. I am sooooo hooked on Facebook, I have re-connected with people from high school that I haven't heard from or seen in 20 years and friends from my old jobs in MN. It's been real great. Also like many of you know, sports can take over as well. Tony is coaching Molly's T-Ball team and assistant coaching Sarah's softball. They both practice twice a week, but when the season starts they will only have one practice a week but games one to two times a week. I am so busy. I also have been named team photographer so I will be at most of their practices and games.
Ok, on to the card. This is one we made at stamp camp. I love the simplicity of it too. I am going to do this on in my next card class.

"Card Class Card"
I have my class tonight. I picked this card to make since it is kind of a masculine birthday card. We never make those and I never think to do it. Poor guys, they are always getting left out. Ha ha ha. The stars are punches and dies. The big ones are the stampin' up star punch and the others are a sizzix die. It is an easy card to make. Took a long time to prep for though. The pattern paper is retired East Coast Prep (I think)

"A Little Love"
This is another card we will be doing in my class Friday. I also made this one several years ago when I took the class that I am now teaching. Once again a simple card that packs a punch. Gotta love simple. The chair stamp is from the retired set A Little Love and the word valentine is from Everyday Flexible Phrases. I am almost ready for my class. I just need to come up with a 3D project. You would think that would be easy for me but it isn't. Most of the people in my class take it every month so I would like to come up with something new and different.

"Valentine Card"
This is one of the cards that we will be making in my class on Friday. I made this one in my stamp classes a few years ago. It's pretty simple, that's probably why I like it. Both of stamps are retired. Most of the other cards that we will be making I have already posted. I am excited for my class. Although I am not ready. I still have a lot of prepping to do. I am still trying to find a job. I did get the lunch lady job but I haven't started yet. I am tying to get a part time waitress job. What I don't understand is why places want you to come back for two and three interviews for a part time minimum wage job, and then you don't get it. I have 11 years serving experience and no one wants me. I am almost running out of places to apply. LOL

"Tile Coasters"
Well, it has been a stressful week preparing for Friday's class. I really wanted to make the tile coasters but I couldn't find them. I searched and searched for them at Lowes and Home Depot but both places were out, or no longer carried non glazed tiles. I was so bummed. So I came up with two candy projects instead. Then I was looking at all the projects and most of them were candy. I didn't know what to do. Then my friend Carrie called and told me that JoAnn's had some coasters but they were circles. At that point I didn't care, I just wanted to make them, so I decided to check it out and see what they were and I bought all they had. They were on clearance in the Christmas section 50% off. They only had eight 4 packs so they will only be making two of them.
Here is what they look like. It is a kit that came with glitter, die cut snowman and snowflakes, and a circle felt bottom. I wish they would have had more.
Stamps: French Script, Grapes (retired)
Ink: Olive, Black, and Purple Stazon

"Class Nugget Tin"
I am getting ready for my December Christmas Parks and Rec class. I am supposed to teach a class on Friday but my finger is not allowing me to do so. It's getting better but it isn't good enough to prep for the class yet. I am going to do the Christmas one though. I can't wait for that one. It's going to be so fun. I am going to have Christmas music and cookies and cider. This is one of the projects that they will be doing. The wrap around piece is 1 1/2 x 9 incase you don't want to figure it out yourself. I got the nugget tins from Speciality Bottle. The prices aren't too bad. I bought 24 tins for $31 something with tax and shipping.

"Card Class Cards"
I have my card class tonight at the parks and rec. I picked super simple cards this time cause the class is only 2 1/2 hours and I got in trouble last time for going over. Tonight is the last 2 1/2 hour class. I got the time extended to 3 hours for the next three classes. I hate feeling rushed and I know they do too so this class should be easier on everyone. Some of these cards you have been posted earlier so you might remember them. The pink and blue baby card and the grey wedding are the ones I have posted already. I also made them each a neutral baby card so they will be going home with an extra card tonight.
Stamps: Cheery Chat, Little Pieces
Paper: Ballet Blue, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Ballet Blue, Real Red
Accessories: Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Sponge, SU circle punch
I like how this one turned out. The scanner doesn't really capture how pretty this one is so you have to use your imagination. They requested wedding and baby cards this time so this card could also be used as wedding or anniversary. It kinda looks purple but it is perfect plum and pale plum. I also added some bling in the middle of the flowers. I found the bling at Walmart next to the ribbons. They came in a tube and I think there is like 1000 of the rhinestones in there. And bonus it was like $3
Stamps: Baroque Motifs
Paper: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, Whisper White
Ink: Perfect Plum, Pale Plum
Accessories: Bling
Another simple card. All they have to do is glue the paper on and stamp and color the image. The ribbon is already cut so they just have to staple it on.
Stamps: Best Of Cluck
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Summer Sun, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Stazon Black
Accessories: Gingham Ribbon, SU Markers, Stapler
This is the bonus card that I am giving them tonight. That way they will have a card that isn't boy or girl specific. I think this one is super cute.
The pink and blue baby cards have already been posted.
For my class, I have everything set up like shoe box swaps. I bought a bunch of the SU flat large cello bags and I put everything in them so when they sit down they just grab a bag and it has all the paper and supplies inside to make the card. I used to just have all the cut paper and stuff in a basket which was fine. But then for one of the classes I put everything in the cello bags and they liked it way better. Plus it saves time for them having everything in one place.
Stamps: Baby Firsts
Paper: Pretty In Pink, Ballet Blue, Gable Green, DP
Ink: Stazon Black
Accessories: White Grosgrain Ribbon, SU Markers
This wedding card has also been posted. The vellum is embossed using the cuttlebug which looks super cool. I think this card looks so elegant.
Stamps: Mini Mates
Paper: Basic Grey, Vellum Cardstock
Ink: Basic Grey
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Embossing Folder, SU Circle Punches, Hand Held Hole Punch, Silver Cord, Silver Satin Ribbon, Corner Rounder

"Card Class Baby Cards"
Here are two more cards that we are going to do at my upcoming card class. They have requested baby cards. This is what I came up with. This is the hardest class for me to come up with something to make. My next two classes are in October and November. I love to make fall cards and with Halloween and Thanksgiving it will be easy. But for some reason I have trouble with months with no holidays. I feel like I am in a slump. Mostly because I don't have any new Stampin' Up stamps. I only got one stamp set from the new catalog. Nothing seemed to grab me that I "had" to have. I sure hope the new catalog has something for me. I NEED NEW STAMPS!!
I went to my local stamp store yesterday and I got some new paper and I did buy one new stamp from Memory Box. It is a cute penguin with her hair in rollers. My friend Carrie also gave me three new Bella's for my birthday and I can't wait to ink them up as well. So I have some new things to work with, I just don't have anything new Stampin' Up. I will be doing stamp camp again so that will give me an opportunity to see some new samples and I hope to find something cool to buy.
Stamps: Baby's Firsts, Warmest Regards
Paper: Pretty In Pink, Ballet Blue, Whisper White, DP

"Wedding Wishes"
I am making this card for my upcoming stamp class. They had asked if we could do a wedding card. I made this one in my stamp camp and I thought it would be perfect. It really does look more elegant in real life. This one uses going grey but I am going to use basic grey cardstock since we can no longer get going grey. I ran the vellum cardstock through the cuttlebug and attached it to the card with glue dots. I got the silver satin ribbon at Walmart. What do you think? I think it is pretty.
Stamps: Mini Mates (retired)

"Summer Flip Flop"
How cute is this? I am going to do this card for my parks and rec class in June. It just screams summer. The "sandy beach" is torn paper. I don't have a template for the flip flop so what you can do if you want to make one is click on the picture and print it out then cut out the flip flop as your template. I used the rectangle hand punch for the holes for the ribbon. I cut two 2 3/4 inch pieces of ribbon and put one in one bottom hole and then in the top hole, then do the same for the other side. So there will be two pieces through the top hole. I taped the extra ribbon to the back of the flip flop. The cut out flower is adhered with a dimensional and it covers up the hole where the two ribbons meet. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Stamps: Itty Bitty Backgrounds, Seeing Spots, Everyday Flexible Phrases
Paper: Ballet Blue, Creamy Caramel, Green Galore, Whisper White
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Green Galore, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Silver Brad, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensional, Rectangle Hand Punch

"Card Class Masculine Birthday"
I am pretty sure that I posted one similar to this before. This is the masculine birthday card that I am doing tonight for my class. As soon as I am done posting this, I have to run out again to try and find candles. I want to do a stamped candle and I have been having a hard time finding the candles. I used to get the unscented ones at Michael's for $1 but they don't have those any more, now they have white scented ones for $1.50 and I don't want to pay that. I need 12 for the people in the class and one for my sample and one to demo and I guess a couple extra in case. So I don't want to buy 16 of them for $1.50. Nothing like being last minute ha? I went to the dollar tree yesterday and they had two of the ones I want so I am going to go to the other dollar tree and Walmart to see if they have them. Otherwise I will have to get the $1.50 ones.

"Class Card #3"
Here is a card I came up with this week for my class. I noticed that 4 out of the 5 cards I had prepped for the class were birthday cards. So I had to come up with two different cards. Here is one that I did. I am going to give them the choice to either make it as a Mother's Day card or they can use the greetings from sincere salutations and make it something different. You can't tell in the picture but there are stickles on the flowers. Not my favorite card for the class but I think they will like it.

"Class Project"
Here is one of the 3D projects that I am doing for my class. I don't think they have done a bag topper before. The other project I am going to do is a stamped candle. I have to get the candles today. I totally forgot all about them. I am almost ready for my class on Friday. There were two people on the waiting list so I added them to the class. So now I will have 12 people. I am excited. I have all the cards prepped for 30 so I should be safe. They will be making one bag topper and one candle to total 12 projects.

"Class Card #2"
Here is another card I am going to do in my class next Friday. I think I have posted this one before. Like I said the other day. I am casing myself for this class. I found the wood paper at Joann's. I love it. It really makes the card. I also doodled around the chicken to fill in the empty space. This card has a lot of pieces but it will be easy to make and shouldn't take much time at all. They will be making two of these. The bow is a separate piece of ribbon and then I glue dotted it to the wrapped around ribbon. Here is a link to a video on how to make the bunny ears bow. Mine got squished in the scanner a little. I love making these cause they are so perfect. I am kinda bow challenged.
Stamps: Best of Cluck
Paper: Close to Cocoa, Basic Black, Ruby Red, Whisper White, Non SU DP
Ink: Basic Black, Ruby Red
Accessories: SU Markers, Sheer Dotted Ribbon, Glue Dot (to secure the bow)

"Card Class Card"
Wow! Two posts in one day. Woo Hoo! As I was getting my stuff together for my class in April, I noticed that 4 out of the 5 cards I came up with were birthday cards. I didn't plan it that way, it's just how it turned out. So I decided to use one of the other cards for my next class in June and made this one last night. I am going to give them the choice of greetings from warmest regards. They can use either the thinking of you, happy birthday, or the thank you. I am also going to give them the choice of using the flower stamp or the candle stamp from Tags and More. I didn't give them any choices for my first class. My hot brown guy is coming by today to bring me my order so I can finish prepping for my class. I didn't get anything fun for me this time. Boo! I think my next order will have at least one stamp set for me. I feel like I am always ordering things that I "need" instead of things that I want.
Stamps: Tags & More, Warmest Regards, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Paper: Certainly Celery, Rose Red, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Non SU DP
