Woo Hoo!!! Were you all going nuts waiting for me to post the next blog candy for the week? I was too cause I wasn't sure which one I was going to do today so while I was deciding I ran some errands. Today I am giving away 2 of the new embossing folders. Floral Fantasy and Distressed Stripes. If you don't have a Cuttlebug but you do have a Sizzix you can use that to emboss. I just recently got the Cuttlebug but before that I used my Sizzix. You have to get the converter kit for the Sizzix though before you can emboss. They cost around $14. You can get them at Michael's or Joanns or try your local stamp store. That is where I found mine. The converter kit is a magnet that adds height to the part that comes down on the dies. My friend Kristine did a tutorial on how it works. You can find it here.

Thank you all for sharing your Easter Traditions. I really enjoyed reading about what you all do with your family. I am a little disappointed that no one rolls eggs like we do though. Seriously, You should try it. The kids have as much fun as the adults. I have been doing it for 38 years and it has been a family tradition since before I was born. This is the only picture I could find of egg rolling. It is from 2003. But you get the idea.

"Easter Stamp Give A Way"

Did y'all know that Easter is on March 23rd? A little too early for me this year. I didn't have anything to post today, I am finishing up a couple gift sets that are long over due. So why not give something away!! I had to go to Michael's to pick up something for the gift sets and BAM! I scored with the $1 Easter Stamps. I got a few for me and a few for you. Leave me a comment on this post and tell me if you have any Easter Traditions at your house. Maybe it is a special dinner you have or someplace you go, or if someone special comes over every year. Here is an Easter tradition that we do. I don't know of anyone else that does it so please if you do this, tell me so I don't think that just my family is weird. LOL We take the colored hard boiled eggs and roll them in the living room. First we get a ramp. Sometimes it is a big piece of cardboard sometimes it is a big piece of wood (like a door) We prop the ramp on a chair. Then we put 3 eggs randomly on the floor. We then give everyone 6 eggs and the oldest goes first and the youngest goes last. We roll one egg at a time and try to smash into another egg. Then the next person rolls one egg. And so on. If you hit an egg you pick up yours that you rolled and the one you hit. The winner is the one with the most eggs. What do you win? Bragging rights for a whole year.

Hello.....Why didn't anyone tell me that I hit 15,000 views? I am almost at 15,500. Wow, I can't believe it. It was only two and a half weeks ago when I was at 10,000. "Geting ready for another give away"

I am driving to LA this weekend for SCS So Cal Stamp mania 4! This is my third one so I am really excited. It is a 7 hour drive for me but I don't mind. It is a easy drive. I love to drive too. When I get a few hours out of LA I plug in my i-pod because most of the radio stations are Spanish and I can never find a station to listen to. I will most likely loose my voice from singing all those 80's tunes at the top of my lungs. I have started making my "Wick Original" for my 10,000 post blog candy giveaway. It is going to be a good one so stay tuned. I hope to finish it while I am in LA and hopefully my blog will hit 10,000 by the time I get home. I am bringing a small suitcase for my clothes and a big one for my stamps and another one for inks, punches,and other tools and embilishments I might need for the weekend. The Event is on Saturday but I am going Friday through Sunday. I can't wait to get away for the weekend and stamp and shop. My Michael's doesn't have the clear stamps so I am planning on finding some in LA. I don't know if I will be posting anything between now and Monday but we will see. I have a lot to do this week to get the kids ready to spend the weekend alone with dad. NFL draft this weekend so y'all know where he will be. LOL

So, I dropped off my daughter at pre-school this morning and headed to Michael's. I was looking for the new acrylic stamps for $1 but my Michael's doesn't have them yet. Wah..... So, I picked up some stamps and two punches and these super cute little "contain it's" They are perfect for on the go stamping/scrapping. They fit brads and eyelets or what ever small embellishment you can fit. Perfect to throw in your crop bag or purse.
