BRAK From Sara P & Gayle S

I don't have anything of my own to post today but I do have a couple birthday RAK's to share that I got. The first one is from my friend Sara P. You have to check out her blog. She is so talented and funny. She sent me some paper trey ink paper and this cute hinged tin with ribbon and some images. And look at the gorgeous card she made. I love the colors. Thanks Sara!

I got this neat chip board book to alter and some paper, stickers, and flowers from my friend Gayle. Gayle is in my yahooo group and a great friend. Thank you both for thinking of me and sending me these wonderful birthday RAK's.

"Birthday Monkey"

I made this card yesterday with my new Stampendous Monkey stamp. I got it from Sandra Smart. Super cute ha? Sandy is so sweet. She is one of my (what my husband calls) "stalkers" LOL and so very generous. Check out her blog if you have time. Another talented lady. So anyway, my mail carrier showed up with a big box for me from Sandy. She wrapped it in brown paper and stamped all over it. It was very cool. I still ripped it open though cause I couldn't wait to see what was inside.

Sandy sent me, the monkey stamp, two journals, a bunch of coasters, accordion thingys that go inside of altoid tins, flower brads, lock and key shaped brads, some embossed cards, stickles (my favorite) the stickles are lavender which is a color I don't own. Stickers, foam letters, and a cute box she decorated and filled it with Ghiradelli Chocolates. The black box that held everything is one of those photo boxes and I am going to store cards inside it. "Birthday RAK'S"

My birthday is coming up on Saturday. WOO HOO!!!! If you know anything at all about me then you know that I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY! It is my favorite day of the whole year. I know that I am gonna be 39 this year but I still love my birthday. My husband thinks that birthday's are nothing special but I still do. This birthday isn't gonna be one of my favorites though. Tony is going to a wedding of a co-worker and Katie will still be in Minnesota so it will be just me and the two girls. Which is fine cause they love birthday's too. I don't know what we will do but it will be fun.
I got these two Birthday RAK's last week. How thought full of these ladies to send me birthday wishes. This one is from Steph Hargis Thanks Steph. I love this card. I never got the Summer Picnic DP but have drooled over it a lot. I don't know why I didn't get it. Oh well. Maybe they will put it in the new caddy and I can get as much as I want. Yeah right. LOL Thanks Steph for this pretty birthday card and for thinking of me.

This cute card I got from Connie M (scrappingirish on SCS)Connie is from Canada. Growing up in Northern MN we were only 4 hours from Canada and I can remember going to visit several times when I was little. I loved it. I also went to the friendship games once with a group of people and we went bowling. I remember that was very cool. Canada Rocks!! Along with this card Connie sent me a packet of Peppermint Menthe Tea. I love tea too so I was excited to try a new kind. Thanks Connie for the birthday card and the tea!

"RAK from Christa"

Look what I got in the mail yesterday! Hand made dish towels!! How cool is that? I got them from Christa H. Her and her friend Winona look at my blog all the time and recreate some of the cards I make. I sent her and Winona some stamped images that they didn't have so they could make more cards and she sent me these cool dish towels that she knitted. Thank you Christa. I love them.

Now a funny husband story. You all know how the husbands are, they just don't get it. I tell him about my blog hits and read him some of the comments, and I am always talking about my "friends" all over the world and he just rolls his eyes. So when I got Christa's package yesterday in the mail, he was like. "Hey Rochelle, you got mail from one of your stalkers"! LOL He did say it with a smile so I know he was kidding. Men, they just don't get it!

I got this very very pretty card in the mail the other day from Lynn Mercurio! I have no idea what stamp set this is but it is super cute. Thanks Lynn for thinking of me. Check out Lynns blog here. She is very talented.

"RAK from Melissa Ferr"

I got this super cute Bella RAK this week from my friend Melissa Ferr I love this card. Great colors and I love the ribbon. The oval is punched out of the front of the card and the Hello is on the inside. Hard to tell in the scan. Thanks Melissa for the great RAK!!!

"RAK From Sara P"

Is this freakin' cute or what? Sara sent me this cute 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 little hand made I don't know what you call it. Note pad maybe. She also sent three more for my girls. They thought it was so cool and asked me how come I never made these for them before. I was like I don't have a Bind it All. I knew I should have asked for one of these for Christmas. I am totally going to get one. This is the cutest thing ever. I know I would love making these. I think I will have to get it on my own. I asked for a cuttlebug for Christmas. (I use my sizzix right now) My husband said the other night. What was that thing you wanted for Christmas again? A Skittlebug? I think he was just messing with me but I'm not sure. "RAK From Kristine"

I got this cute RAK from Kristine the other day. With a Bella and a Saying inside. How cool is that? I have been dealing with a 6 week headache that turned into a 5 day migraine in the middle of it. Then back to the headache. I had a CT scan and it came back normal. Which I am happy about, but that means that they don't know what is causing my headache. AGH!!! I think I am going to have to try some other options. Maybe a chiropractor or headache clinic. I don't know. If you have any suggestions, I am up for anything. I just want to get rid of it. It is easier to stamp when your head is pain free. LOL I hope to stamp a lot this weekend.

"I got Happy Mail"

My mail was sitting in my mail box for 4 days. Someone snapped a key off in my lock and I couldn't get to my mail. The mail carrier came by yesterday and brought me a ton of mail and what was mixed in with all the junk and bills? Two very cool Bella RAK's. I got this first one from Kristine. It was jam packed with stamped Bella images. I couldn't wait to tear into it. I knew they were in there and it was just killing me that I couldn't get into my mail box. Thank you soooooo much Kristine. I can't wait to play. Isn't her card so cute? She made it from her monthly kit that she gets from Papperpretties. Kristine is also one of their design team members. Way to go Kristine. They sure knew what they were doing when they choose you.

This very cool Blogger RAK I got from the talented Susanna Boyd over at Barefoot Stamper. I love her card. She stamped the images on pattern paper and cut them out and glued them on to their dresses. What a very cool look. Great colors and great card. I love the paper she used and the colors are beautiful. Thank you Susanna for thinking of me and sending me this great card.

Wow, I had a good mail week. This is the RAK that I got from my good friend Kristine. It's a funny story. My daughter got a RAK from Kristine made with Jammy Bella and it was soooo cute. Then I was a little jealous because I didn't get one from her. Then the next day I got one from Kristine. Woo Hoo. LOL I love the colors that Kristine used and the layout is cute. I don't have winobella, actually I don't have any Bella's (yet) I ordered some for my birthday. They are shipping so I hope to get them soon. That mail man has 6 days until my birthday to get them to me. OR ELSE!! LOL

Look at this very cool RAK I got from my friend Kristine. I love it. I have never used copper before but this is going to inspire me to try it. (I don't have any copper paper but I will get some) This card is so cool. I love the colors and the cuttlebug background goes so well. She embossed in bronze on the paper and the greeting. It is so beautiful. Inside this beautiful card, Kristine gave me some cuttlebug embossed paper. I don't have this embossing folder. The colors are ones she knows I don't use often, (Bravo Burgundy, Mellow Moss, Sahara Sand, and Not Quite Navy) I think there is some hidden challenge there somewhere.
