"Blog Candy~ Giveaway #4"

I seriously can't tell you all how fun this is. I enjoy reading all of your comments so much. I feel like I know you all so much better. I wish I could do this every day. (I'm sure you do too LOL) I love hearing about you guys. I am compiling some lists of things from the posts the past three days which I will post later. Some of you are very funny. I like that cause I am funny too and I love to laugh. You guys make me laugh.
Today's blog candy is two Stampendous Stamps. I really love Stampendous Stamps. It is one of my top 3 favorite stamp companies. *Just a reminder: If you don't have a log in name or choose to be "anonymous" please leave me at least your first name and maybe what state you are in. There seems to be a lot of people with the same first names and quite a few anonymous people. If I pick your name I want to be able to find you. *
I can't wait until tomorrow!! Do you know why? Well, it's the grand prize giveaway!!! Do you think you know what it is?

To win these fabulous stamps leave me a comment telling me your favorite stamps. Either a set or a single stamp, current or retired, any company. I would like to get an idea of what you guys like so I can make projects with the stamps you have to give you ideas. Ya know, providing I have them. LOL Ok, I am talking too much now and this post is entirely too long. Have a great day everyone!

The deadline for wining this fantastic blog candy is Sunday May 25th. I will draw all the names Sunday at midnight my time and announce the winners on Monday May 26th. Please feel free to enter to win all of the blog candy that is being offered this week. You can win more than once. You have to enter each one though. One entry doesn't enter you in all of the giveaways.

Hi! My current most inked stamp set is from Saltbox Studio, Home Tweet Home! The stamps are birdhouses that you can hang on branches or trees, etc. Now wouldn't that monkey look darling hanging next to the stamp of the church birdhouse? heee heee

Art Impressions also has cute stamps....everyone in my family likes getting the "funny" cards.

  6. Cuuuute! I don't have any monkey stamps. My brother and sister-in-law did their newborn son's room in a jungle theme and they're crazy about monkeys.
My favorite stamp set is probably Baroque Motifs.

  8. Aww, I love the monkey

I am new into stamping, so I haven't used enough to have a favorite yet. However, though I don't own any, I love all the papertrey stamps; they look so cute! I have some coming in the mail right now; I can't wait to try them out :)

Rather than a particular "brand" of stamps, I like really cute ones. Like long legged chicks, Santas or Snowmen. Or funky animals with really cute faces. And I like simple flowers that are easy to cut out.
    Thanks for your ideas.

  16. Although clear stamps are my favorite to use, I haven't found a company that beats SU so I use those unmounted. My fave SU set right now is Time Well Spent, although I don't own it. I think it's a gorgeous set and I love every card I've seen.

  19. Monkeys! How cute, I have a couple of crazy monkeys at my house in the form of two girls.
My favorite stamp set would have to be Embrace Life, I saw it at just the right time and knew I had to have it. (My brother-in-law recently passed away from brain cancer, and I used that set for thank you notes.)

Wow having to decide on favorite stamps is really hard - it used to be Fluffles from Stampendous but latly I have been getting only acryolic stamps so I'd have to say PaperTrey and Verve Visual and Inkadinkado are my favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My favorites SU set is Best Blossoms.
You can make any type of card with it. But that monkey is so cute. I'd love to use it with Wild about You. That's my only baby/kids set.

  24. There are so many wonderful stamps, it is hard to choose a favorite. Right now, I would say that The Clear Art Stamps from Crafty Secrets are among my favorite. I love anything vintage, feminine, or detailed. I am very partial to monkeys too. When my daughter was 3 or 4, she had a toy monkey that she truly loved. She decided to marry the monkey so we held a wedding for them, complete with a decorated tiered banana wedding cake with toasted coconut accents. Her grandmother and great grandmother were also involved with the preparations. It was only fitting, as I "married" a rabbit when I was that age. The monkey brings back good memories.

Thanks for the chance to win the cute monkey stamp!!!

  25. Oooh...what a great monkey. I'd love to have that to use for my youngest "monkey." haha.

My favorite SU set is Natural Beauty b/c I have probably make the most lovely cards with it, personally. I seem to like some set, then if I get it...it doesn't click with me. Or I don't get it...and then I am kicking myself for NOT getting it. Though, truth be told, I have been able to get a few of those retired "of course NOW I really know I want it" sets!

  45. Right now I'm addicted to my JustRite Monogram Stamper so I guess that is my favorite :)

In general though my favorites are simple stamps that pop but require little work to get them to do so!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I just got blossoms about my SU yesterday and inked it already and LOVE it! Lilacs are my favorite and I think they are supposed to be lilacs. I am a demo for SU and love their stamps but I love clear stamps too. I have been really impressed with Verve Visual and like the sets I've purchased. I have also fallen in love with the monkies from Clear Dollar Stamps and they make great quality stamps and a GREAT price. (I sound like an ad!) One of my favorite stamps of all time though is one of the first I bought from Magenta. It is a tree but instead of leaves blowing off, little hearts are. I love it.

Anyway, you are giving away some awesome stuff! Hope to win something.

I have Blog Candy too until Monday. Come check it out!!

  47. My favorite stamp is from Amuse - it is the rock star. I have a little boy 7 years old who loves music and plays guitar and rock band. It reminds me of him. However I really love the Stampin Up stamps and the Hero Arts stamps as well. I would love to win the monkey stamp! I have called my little boy a monkey since he was little. He was always climbing on something mostly on my back!from Stampin Up favorite stamps.

  50. My all-time favorite stamp is the porcupine by Stamps by Judith. He is just so darn cute! I like him because I can stamp and emboss him on kraft paper and I'm DONE. Or I can go all out and stamp on white card stock and then color him in. I've used a variety of other stamps with him such as bunny ears for Easter, a small present for a birthday card, a flower for a "just because" card, etc. I even used a popcorn box clipart image that he held for a card that was sent with a package of microwave popcorn.

What a CUTE blog candy set. Who would ever think, Monkeys can be - CUTE?!?!?!

Your question is a tough one, today. (How much space do I have, to post my answer???) Honestly - I have no idea. Yesterday, my favorite was, Live Your Dreams (SU! Occasions - mini). On Monday is was, Embrace Life (SU!). Last week is was, Women of Life (Papertrey Ink). Today - it's ALL of the sets I mentioned. If, I had to narrow that all down, I'd have to say - I love CUTE. I love, any and all CUTE sets.

  53. Hi again Rochelle, I have to say I love Stampin' Up! stamps, and not just because I'm a demo. I find they are really sturdy, they stand up to little hands. Depending on what I'm stamping would depend on my favorite stamps. One of my all time favorites is In Full Bloom. There are no girls in this family so if I get a chance to stamp something girly, I always go for that set! Thanks again for offering such great blog candy!

  54. Oh, what sweet candy...I could SO use some new rubbah!! And I could really use some fun stamps!! 'Not sure it's my favorite, but my most used stamp set right now is "Bundle of Joy"...everyone just keeps having babies!!

  55. Mostly, I'm an SU girl, but I really like art line stamps, because I love to colour. I adore the Thomas Kinkade stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms, they are colouring to the max! CHF also have some really nice vintage look stams in their Signature series.
I'd love this little monkey, though- my 9 yo DD is a monkey and ladybug fanatic, and I don't have a monkey stamp yet (got a few ladybugs, though!). AND I can colour in this stamp, too! Perfect!

I confess that I'm not a monogomous stamper. I can't help it, I love whatever stamp set I'm using at the time. Currently, I'm having a love affair with Tart and Tangy. But, soon I'll grow board and have to move on for a more exciting affair. I'm afraid I will never be able to settle down with just one set. I'm doomed to an unfaithful stamping existence. I like all of my stamps and my friends' stamps, too! My family and non-stamping friends think I'm a little crazy, but it's funny how they love it when I make them cute stuff. Hmmm...one of my favorite companies is savvy stamps. Their stamps are cute because they're small AND they're funny...like the one that says "wish BIG" with an image of a bra. :) Thanks for having great giveaways!

  79. Wow! This is just so much fun! You're awesome to share your passion for scrappin' in such a stellar and unique way! THANK YOU!

I am relatively new to the stamp scene. Oh, y'know years ago I went to a couple stampin' up parties and it was cool, but I didn't do much with them...then I discovered My Favorite Things! They have a stamp called "can ya dig it?" and within me, a stamper was born!

"Can ya dig it?" features a woman in a floppy hat on her knees gardening. It has a wheel barrow, a watering can, a rabbit, a pot, carrots, seed packets and cute sayings like, "Let's Dish the Dirt" (perfect for that handwritten note that tells your friend far away how much you miss them and what's happening). "Can Ya Dig It?", "It's Fun to Get Dirty" (okay, what Mom can't use this? Seriously.) and "You are My Sunshine" cliched and cheesy...agreed, but useful. And my all time favorite "Life is in Full Bloom"...perfect for a card or tag for a new baby, a new home, a straight A report card...all those things that make Life grand.

Ooops, I guess I got a little carried away! I just really, really love this stamp set!!!

  85. Do we have to pick only ONE!? Eek - let's see - I LOVE Scripture Stamps and probably use The Encouragement stamp set by Sweet 'n Sassy stamps right now - but I also have been enjoying some of those moose Riley stamps, although I do not have any. LOL I looked at these stamps last week at the LSS - think they are too cute.

I really like all three companies, but right now Embrace Life (SU) is my fave. I don't actually have that set, but my mom and sister both have it, so I can use it from time to time.

Trying to narrow down favorite stamps is really tough...but I'll try. Most of my stamps are from Stampin Up. I do a stamp club with Amy (Zoe's Creation)and I've been slowly adding to my collection. I like Garden Whimsey and Time Well Spent. But, like I said, it's so hard to pick a favorite. Thanks again.

The latest stamp set that I have been using a lot is SU!'s Watercolor Garden. I just made 5 sets of cards using that stamp set to give to my youngest DD's communication class teachers and her preschool teachers.
