"Delightful"

Here is the card I made for the splitcoast color challenge #103 Elegant Eggplant, Cool Caribbean & Certainly Celery
It was the first time I used my aqua painter. I have had it for about 8 months and never even opened the package. What was I thinking? I love the aqua painter. I have never watercolored before so it was a new experience for me. I need to do it more to get the hang of it a little better. I love how my card turned out.

Roar.....

I am so lovin' this Wild About You set. I am also loving the scallops. I seem to be in a layout funk. I like this card but it was a lot of work so I think I will only be making one of these for now. I stamped the lion in summer sun then again in more mustard. I cut out the mustard mane and glued it on the summer sun lion. I also added mustard dots for the eyes. Then I sponged mustard over the white piece. I also sponged mustard around the edges. The card is summer sun and I stamped it with the itty bitty background but then sponged mustard over that so you can't really see it anymore. Then sponged the edges of the card with mustard as well.
Stamps: Wild About You, So Very, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Paper: Summer Sun, More Mustard, Whisper White
Ink: Summer Sun, More Mustard
Accessories: Mustard Grosgrain, Giga and Mega Scallop Circles

"My Blue Ribbon Girl"

My daughter Katie took first place in the science fair. Her project was "Rusty Nails" Which liquid will rust a nail the fastest. She used tap water, salt water, coca cola, and bleach. The bleach won and the coke did nothing. She is now moving on to compete in the district science fair. Going up against the other first place winners. Good luck Katie!

I made these for my daughter Molly's pre school class for her valentines. They are Del Monte fruit cup tins. I cut the bottom off with a safety can opener, washed them out real good. Stamped my images and attached them to the tin. Then wrapped 4 Hershey Nuggets with stamped address labels and put them in the tin with some red crimped filler shreded paper. Then I glued the bottom back on with crystal effects, added some ribbon and that is it. The kids........er, I mean the moms loved them.
